- 2Built in our workshopThe base is sloped, waterproofed in layers and finished in your tile in our shop, then checked before it leaves.
- 3Delivered ready to installIt arrives pre-tiled, with no mortar bed to mix, so there is far less time and mess on site. Our team installs it, or your crew does.

Still have a question? Ask usOur own custom-built tiled shower base system, designed and made in-house for better quality, durability and a perfect fit for each bathroom.
An acrylic base comes in stock sizes and is plastic. A traditional tiled base is built on site with a mortar bed and a membrane. Ours is fully custom and tiled like a traditional base, but it is built off-site with a layered waterproof structure, so it goes in faster and without the mess on site.
Tile and grout are not waterproof; the layer underneath is. A waterproof shower base needs a proper slope to the drain and a continuous waterproof membrane bonded to the drain and carried up the walls, then a flood test. A Canzeno base has that layer built in: its composite reinforcement and perimeter flange are sealed in our shop before it reaches you.
Mosaic’s many grout lines follow the slope to the drain and add grip, which makes it a natural choice for a shower floor. Large-format tile looks sleeker with less grout, but it cannot bend to the slope, so it needs a linear drain. We cut and slope a Canzeno base for either.
Yes. Each base is built to your space: size, slope, drain type and position, threshold and tile finish.
A tub to shower or tub to tub conversion takes 3–4 days, and a full bathroom renovation 7–9 days. The base is built and tiled in our shop first, so the time on site stays short.
