This is usually the first thing people ask, and it’s a fair question. Most have seen a cheap painted basin where the finish started peeling within weeks. Ours are sealed with a waterproof finish meant for wet, high-traffic surfaces, so the design is protected, not exposed. Clean it with mild, non-abrasive products and it holds up as a working fixture, not something you have to treat gently.

A tub to shower or tub to tub conversion takes 3–4 days, and a full bathroom renovation 7–9 days. The base is built and tiled in our shop first, so the time on site stays short.
An acrylic base comes in stock sizes and is plastic. A traditional tiled base is built on site with a mortar bed and a membrane. Ours is fully custom and tiled like a traditional base, but it is built off-site with a layered waterproof structure, so it goes in faster and without the mess on site.
Yes. The base is built with a multi-layer waterproofing system and an integrated perimeter flange to protect against leaks and moisture over the long term.
Yes. Canzeno is fully insured, carries $2 million in liability insurance, and every project is backed by the Canzeno warranty.
